Gilberto Romboli
Gilberto is a serial entrepreneur and freelance consultant. His ventures include Intrauma (Torino IT), a innovative internal fixators to traumatology company; Sortron (Forlì IT), a capacitive microsensors company. He sits on the board of PHIAP (Forlì, Italy).
As a consultant, Gilberto has worked successfully in Italy, independently or as part of the Società di Fisica Applicata Italy. He served major international corporations like Luigi Bomioli SpA , GUABER SpA, Gruppo Tonino Lamborghini, Iris Ceramica, Rosetti Marino SpA, as well as successful startups like Dot Pulse, and others. He is the entrepreneur-in-residence of PHIAP, a seed-stage venture fund advisory firm.
Throughout his career, Gilberto has been responsible for several multi-million dollar R&D and operations deals.
Gilberto holds a BS in Physics from Bologna University and a Executive MBA from the Alma Graduate School. He has been a teaching and research assistant in geophysics at Bologna University and Urbino. His interests include traveling, swiming, reading and cooking.
